Whilst it is true that no woman ever has perfectly symmetrical breasts, different degrees of asymmetry may cause enough concern for a woman to seek further treatment. These asymmetries may be in terms of volume, with a larger breast on one side and a smaller breast on the other, a difference in droop to the […]
I am delighted to be hosting our annual Purity Bridge Breast Awareness evening in October, to coincide with National Breast Awareness Month. The event is on Wednesday 19th October at 7pm. Please come and join me, alongside my colleagues Nora Nugent and Haresh Devalia for an evening of breast health, breast awareness, breast reconstruction and […]
As a Plastic Surgeon we frequently see people who have lost a lot of weight and are left with redundant folds of skin in various areas of their bodies such as arms, tummy, legs and not to mention breasts. One of the challenges in this particular patient group that differentiates them is that their skin […]
There is a common misconception by many people I see in consultations that a round breast implant will produce a more artificial look, whereas an anatomical (teardrop) implant will look more natural. This is based on a combination of mis-information, but also the fact that a round implant on the office desk does not look […]
As plastic surgeons, we often here comments to the effect that the grass is greener on the other side! Women with less developed breasts see us about breast enlargement, whilst women with large breasts come consult about reducing the size of their breasts. Large breasted women will often tell me that they can’t understand why anyone would want to […]
I decided to create a specialist breasts plastic surgery website so I could concentrate in a single location all aspects of breast plastic surgery. This includes aesthetic breast surgery (such as breast enlargement breast lift and breast reduction) through to nipple surgery, reconstructive breast surgery and male breast surgery. It will also give me more of an opportunity to concentrate on developmental breast issues such as breast asymmetry and the tuberous breast.
In a purely breast website, I am also able to write blogs purely on aspects of breast plastic surgery. From another point of view, I am glad to feel assured that the audience for this website will have a special interest in breast plastic surgery and therefore the comments and views I express in my blogs will be read by those who are engaged and interested.
However I am always grateful for feedback and if anyone has any comments on my blogs, or would like to add anything please do so in the comment boxes provided. Please also feel free to email me if you would rather not comment in the box!
I hope you will agree that this in creating a specialist breast plastic surgery website is a good idea and engages more specifically and directly with those interested in plastic surgery to the breast.
Consultant Plastic Surgeon, Mr Marc Pacifico MD FRCS(Plast) is hosting a free open evening, in collaboration with Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital. This will take place in the relaxed surroundings of the Nuffield Gym in Tunbridge Wells. Marc will discuss various plastic surgery procedures, illustrated using before and after photographs of patients he has operated on, as well as take questions from all attending. There will also be an opportunity to ask Marc questions more privately after the main presentation, in a discrete area away from the main room.

In each breast enlargement consultation, I ask every patient whether they are aiming for a “natural” result, or one that looks more augmented. Inevitably the majority ask for a natural look. But what does that really mean? After years of listening to the answers and then digging a little deeper, I can assure you that […]
